Federal Tax

I went to the Wheres my refund at the IRS, all earned income credit people are not getting refunds until the beginning of March. No matter how much you are receiving they are putting a hold on it.

According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue refunds before mid-February for tax returns that claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit. This applies to the entire refund, even the portion not associated with these credits.

Check Where's My Refund in mid- to late February for your personalized refund status. It's updated once a day and remains the best way to check the status of your refund. Perhaps turbo tax should note this and amend their time frame Not happy

Turbo Tax gives estimations based on normal handling times. Once you submit your return, Turbo Tax does not receive any updates on the status of your direct deposit date. You can always check the progress of your refund by clicking here

Why isn’t turbo tax telling its customers that there is a wait time due to the irs waiting to refund those who have any earned income credit? You didn’t answer the question earlier so I am getting specific
