Federal refund per TurboTax changed (reduced) after TT updated today.

Refund changed from $4800. down to $3937.

I already e-filed tax return a week ago. Now what?

What happened to the TT guarantee of accuracy?

You should check your transcript at the IRS website.  If the IRS made a change to your tax return then TurboTax would have no control or information about that.  You would need to check with the IRS.

Go here to create an online IRS account to view your tax return and see what changes were made.

You should also receive a letter in the next couple of weeks explaining any changes made to your return.

Sorry is I wasn't clear enough.

I completed my federal taxs & e-filed for a $4800 refund. Several days later, I opened TT to review my state taxes & TT wanted to update. After the update completed my refund changed from $4800. down to $3937. as shown in TT.

I discovered what changed in TT . After the update, TT needed me to check a box regarding a 1099-R RMD. After checking the 'No' box, the refund went back to $4800.
