Your post is confusing. Not sure what you are hoping for. It is too late to get an extension for a 2021 tax return; the deadline has passed for that. If you needed an extension for 2021 you had to request it by April 17. Even if you had an extension for 2021, the deadline to file was October 17; after that the return is just late. If you do not owe tax due there is no penalty for filing after the deadline. If you owe tax due, then you need to pay as soon as possible. The IRS will calculate and bill you for interest or late penalties.
