Entering my license exp date

I need to enter my WA license info to e-file my taxes but my Exp date says MILITARY, and it is asking for a MM/DD/YYYY format. I don't know what to put for the expiration date.

Generally, a military driver's license expires on Date of Separation DOS - use this date.  If you do not have a DOS, use the date your current service commitment ends.

Once officers serve their initial obligation, they don't reenlist so there's effectively no service commitment. So, what do you enter in that case? It looks like there's an option to leave blank.

If leaving blank allows you to e-file, then ok.  If not, you could use the expiration of your Military ID card.
