E filed the beginning of March, however form 8915E had not been released and does not appear to be included in my completed tax return. Do I need to file amendment?

I consulted a turbo tax specialist prior to efiling my return and was told that my taxes were guaranteed to be accurately completed. I was told that everything was accurate, including the taxes on my 401k distribution (regarding Covid etc...) I just want to make sure I do not need to file an amendment now that I do not have form 8915e included in my return.

Yes, if you filed before the form was released.   If you answered that it was COVID related then it should have told you the form was not ready.

It was weird timing because the form was supposed to be available on turbotax, however many people were having issues accessing it, hence why I reached out in chat several times. But I was convinced that everything was accurate, even walked through the calculations by the specialist and told that the form would be there if necessary. I didnt completely trust this but thought maybe after I efiled and printed the completed return that "magically" the form would be there, however it is not. So Im going to have to complete an amended return now?
