e-filed but turbo-tax doesn't think so!

I e-filed my daughter's federal taxes from my desktop version of turbotax.  To my suprise, when I reopened the app to check the status it said I hadn't e-filed yet.  It also gave a message about "If you think you have, continue" and when I did that and hit transmit, it said this was a duplicate submission.

In the mean time, my daughter received a message from TurboTax saying that the Federal return had been accepted.

I would like to assume that this means it really has been, and it's just some glitch why the app isn't recognizing the efile, but....  want to make sure!

It sounds like a glitch in the software.  You can check the status of the Federal refund on the IRS website.  There should be information on their website if it was accepted.  It could take a day or two after accepted for it to show on their website but at least then you know her return went through.

If you have a State refund, you can check your state's website for refund information.

Problem is her tax due/refund is 0, which isn't allowed as input.  It tells you to put $1,which for the last 2 days doesn't show the return.

ETA: so just tried again and with $1 the IRS says it did receive the return, so that's good!
