Downloaded version of Deluxe to my MAC, no way to transfer last year's info. Why?

I downloaded Deluxe for 2023 (from Costco) to my MAC.  No way to transfer last year's info. Both returns on this computer.  Why is this not easy?  How do I do it?  Thanks.
