Does missouri require a copy of the federal tax return with the state return

I have to file by mail, what forms to I have so submit to Missouri and what forms do I mail to the Federal? My forms were prepared on Turbo Tax webpage.    Thank you.

Yes, you'll need to attach a copy of your Federal Tax Return with your Missouri Tax Return.

Then why doesn't TurboTax include that in the forms that you print to file? The cover page states that this is all forms you need to file.

I have the same question.  "Attach a copy of all Forms W-2s and 1099s to your return.  System only prints state forms.

Also, no mention of this anymore in MO instructions for mailing.  Only mention of federal return is for joint efiling and for time extension.

It is state dependent......in MS you are not required to submit a federal return along with your state. Contact your State Dept of Revenue for a definitive answer.

I have never sent a federal tax return with my Missouri State Income Taxes, and have been filing for roughly 45 years. 

TTax does include when you print out PDF's

I don't know why your experience would be different, but I've used turbotax to prepare my Missouri return since 2007 and it has always included the necessary pages from my federal return in the packet it prints for filing with Missouri.

I believe if you itemize your federal and your state then you include a copy of your federal taxes.  If you do not itemize you do not include the federal.  In the instructions for your state returns towards the end of the booklet.
