If you claimed the Earned Income Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), your refund will be delayed.
Per the IRS website: The IRS expects the first EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by the first week of March, if direct deposit was selected and there are no other issues with their tax return. Please continue to check the IRS Where’s My Refund site for your personalized refund date. You should see your status updated a few days after February 15, 2020.
