Did you receive the deposit date from the IRS or TurboTax

  • The information you see on your TurboTax timeline is an estimate.

  • On the other hand, the IRS Where's My Refund? tracker provides a more detailed, personalized timeline. Once your return is accepted, The IRS takes over the refund status updates.

Once your IRS status changed to ISSUED/SENT, your refund is on the way.

Taken directly from the IRS Where's My Refund FAQs:  "Please wait 5 days after we’ve sent the refund to check with your bank about your refund, since banks vary in how and when they credit funds. (It could take several weeks before you receive a mailed refund check.)"

Ok, the IRS asks that you wait 5 days after they have sent the refund to allow it to credit to your account.
**Another thought**, did you select to have any TurboTax fee's deducted from your Tax Return, using our Refund Processing Service  (instead of using a credit/debit card)?

I filed with H&R Block this year. It was free.

Ok, thank you for clarifying. Follow the IRS instructions above. It could just take a bit for your bank to release the funds. You could try to call PNC as well and ask their deposit policy, to see if they hold the funds after they receive them from the IRS.

@swallace76  According to the IRS, "It takes additional time for refunds to be processed after leaving the IRS, and for financial institutions to accept and deposit them to bank accounts and products like debit cards."

If you haven't received your funds within five days of your direct deposit date, the IRS recommends contacting your financial institution to see if they have received your funds.
