Do you need to include fereral 1040 with state return

Last year TT printed a copy of my federal 1040 to file with my AZ state return. This year it only printed my AZ 1040 - NO federal form. Do I need to print/file federal 1040 with my AZ 1040?

Yes, you do.  I am not sure why the program does not print the federal form.  To submit to the state, you do need a copy of the Form 1040 federal form to be attached to your state form.

It does print the federal to now that is why I am on here trying to figure out why it did that.

I printed all my forms. It printed my Federal and then my State with another copy of my federal.
