Do we need to add a 2nd home, in another state, to our taxes? No mortgage, mother-in-law with right of occupancy pays all taxes and costs.

My wife now has a 2nd home in another state, in short her, her mom and dad were all on the title or the three of them all owned the home.  Dad died, and mom went ahead and had her name removed from the title but has the right of occupancy.  Mom pay the taxes and any bills.  Does the house need to be put on our taxes even though we get no income from nor pay any bills for the house?  There is no mortgage on the home.

No.  If the home is not income producing and you are not itemizing and taking a mortgage interest or property tax deduction for it, then there is no reason to add your second home to your tax return.
