Do I need to resend form 8453 when I amend?

I amended my 2020 return and Turbotax is telling me i need to resend form 8453 through snail mail.  I did this already when I submitted my original return, and the amendment had nothing to do with this form (in fact it's identical).  Do I still need to resend the form and documentation?

If nothing attached to  the form 8453 changed then it doesn't need to be sent.
