Do I need to go into my 1040 and adjust my income by applying the UCE unemployment Credit of 10,200? Because my return says I qualify for the exclusion, still same thow

My numbers did not change after was stated that I qualify and adjustments had been made for UI exclusion. why?

It is not a tax credit, but rather a $10,200 maximum deduction from Unemployment Comp income.  However, it cannot reduce your taxable income to less than zero, nor offset any self-employment tax.
