Do I need to file an amend returns, if I didnt get credit for my grandchild for CTC?

I noticed on my 1040 forms, I didnt get the credit for claiming my grandchild. What should I do?

What kind of income did you enter?  And how old is your grandchild?   You cannot get the CTC for a child older than 16.

My income is $35,251 and my grandchild was born in 2014.
