Do I need to file a new form 1120 along with 1120x when amending previously filed return?

I am amending a previously filed form 1120. The instructions for 1120x do not say to file an updated 1120 as well but turbotax auto populates an updated form 1120 & prints it as one of the forms required for filing. Do i need to send in an updated 1120 along with form 1120x

Generally, you include with Form 1120X only those forms of the original return that have changed. The 1120 is printed for your reference only - the information on that form should be summarized on the 1120X.

I used Turbo Tax Business to e-file an 1120. When I amended the 1120 using the same file, Turbo Tax says the 1120 has already been e-filed. Can an amended 1120 be e-filed? Do I need to start a whole new 1120 in Turbo Tax to e-file an amended 1120? Thank you for your help.
