Do I include mileage reimbursement for Jury duty, or just fees?

I have received both mileage and fees for Jury Duty.  Two days at $13.35 per day mileage and $24 in fees.

Some courts will reimburse jurors for expenses such as parking, transportation and even meals. Since these are reimbursements, they typically would not be included in any taxable income that the court reports to you.

Can I get an expert answer to a specific question?  Three years later I have the SAME question.  Now I have 30 days of Jury Duty with 9 checks, again broken down on the STUBs as Mileage & Fees, but each check is totaled, with $400.50 in mileage & $360.00 fees.

If mileage and fees are included in your pay (in other words, you received a single payment for jury duty, mileage, and fees), then enter your total on the Jury Duty Pay screen. If your mileage reimbursement is received separately from your jury duty service payment, then do not enter it into TurboTax.

To enter your jury duty pay, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Search jury duty pay (use this exact phrase) with the magnifying glass tool at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the Jump-to link at the top of the search result.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Too late.  While filing I found help text stating Jury duties travel reimbursements are NOT taxable.  Since the pay stubs are specific as to travel and Fees I did not put those reimbursements on my return.  Remember I'm retired so I wouldn't be traveling to work.
