Do I have to attach my Federal 1040 and Schedule 1 & 3 to my state return when mailing it in? It is printing with "all official forms required for filing".

I am mailing my state return and when I hit the print return button, and choose "all official forms required for filing", Instructions for mailing and my state return show up along with my Federal 1040 and two schedules for my federal return are at the end. Is this a glitch? Why would I have to mail the state part of my Federal return?

What state are you filing?

For example: In IL, if you have social security or other retirement benefits (i.e. Form 1099-R), you need to attach a copy of page 1 of your Federal tax return.
