Do I attach supporting income documents with my amended LLC tax return(2016)? I do not have W2s, only payment history from Square POS and a few cash receipts.

I have the Federal and State form 1040x ready to go just not sure if they will accept the print out statement from Square and copies of cash receipts

No, you would not have any W2's for income received for a business return. You would keep the statements you need to show the income, but you do not attach them to the 1040X unless the form or statement reports tax withheld, or if the information is requested by the IRS.

You do need to attach any changed or added forms or schedules (like the Sch C for the LLC info) to the 1040X.  Look down column B of the 1040X  for what changed so you know what to attach.
