Disappointed This Year

This year (as with every year) I enter all the info correctly from my W-2. I come to Turbo Tax to e-file but this year it is suggesting I mail my return. This is very upsetting. Box 18 is blank on my W-2 and Turbo Tax keeps picking it up as an error. My previous years W-2s were empty as well. I paid to file but I only wanted to e-file. Can I get a refund? I do not wish to file by mail. I would not have paid $80.00 to file by mail. This is very upsetting.

If you'd like, we can look at your return and see exactly what you see to help come to a resolution. We'll be able to see what the hang up on the W-2 is. The return will be scrubbed and won't include any of your personal details.

If you're using TurboTax Online:

Once you're logged in to your account,

- on the left hand panel, click on Tax Tools and then choose Tools

- on the pop up window, select Share my file with Agent

- you'll see a message saying you'll give us a copy of your tax return. Your personal information will be changed so we can't see any private information.

- click okay and you'll get another message with a token

Please reply to this message with your token so that we can further assist you. Let us know what state is included in your return.
