I would like to know if I can change my direct deposit information for the stimulus check disbursement? I filed my 2019 taxes through Turbo Tax (the IRS accepted it) and listed Green Dot as my bank. That was on the 4th of April 2020. I have not heard from Green Dot regarding my card. And, when I go online to check to see if my stimulus check has arrived, sometimes I can get into the account to check--but most times I can't. When customer service is called I am not able to reach a LIVE person. If you don't have a card number from your card (which I have not received) the system will disconnect you. That's even when you have added your personal information to identify you. There is no other contact method for them outside of snail mail. It has been over the seven days alloted time to have received my card. I am really concerned because my department was laid off due to the Corvid 19 virus. And I have used my last of savings to pay rent. UI is not due until weeks out the UI division is saying (and it is way lessor than what I was making, way, way less). I feel helpless. Not knowing what to do. I'm open to good suggestions.
Thanks
I am sorry you are having to deal with this, Since you have not received your Turbo Prepaid Visa, please contact customer support by clicking here.
While calling, please select the option that your refund has been deposited into a card that is not yours. This will get you connected to the fraud department, where you can speak with a human.
Thank you Regina for your help. But I need to quickly make sure that we are on the same page. Okay, the card is a Green Dot debit card account recently set up. I set the card up on their site not Turbo Tax. The rounting and account number is under Green Dot Bank. so, is this the same as The Turbo tax debit card? and the contact info for reporting fraud is that Turbo or the IRS. Thanks sooo much for caring.

The Green Dot Bank Card is a bank that TurboTax works with, but it is not a TurboTax card.
We have not yet received confirmation from the IRS on whether they will be putting stimulus payments on prepaid debit cards. However, we have noticed that the IRS has started depositing stimulus payments on some prepaid debit cards for taxpayers that chose to receive their refund through that method in tax year 2019 or 2018. If you received your refund on a prepaid debit card in tax year 2018 or 2019, here is what you need to know:
Thanks John for your reply. Hmmmm, I am closely looking at your reply regarding "I don't have access to my debit card". I filed my 2019 through Turbo Tax and the Green Dot account is new. I guess, I just trying to find out if I need to contact the IRS and give them another bank card information through the link posted on your reply.
Thank you sooo much for your suggestions.
