Cannot print and Turbo tax wants me to upgrade to talk to someone? It is encrypted when I click on download to print. would another browser work better?

If you download the PDF of the online tax return, it is Not encrypted.  You only need a PDF application on your computer to open, view or print the PDF, such as Adobe Reader - https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/

 

If you downloaded the tax data file which has a file extension of .tax2019 then you need the 2019 TurboTax software to open the tax data file.

 

If you are using the Edge web browser it will change the PDF file extension from

.pdf

to

.txt 

You only need to rename the file extension back to

.pdf

 

Or change your web browser to either Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox and download the PDF of the online tax return again,.

 

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Or -

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
