Can you use Turbo Tax Business to e-file an amended 1120 (1120-X)?

I used Turbo Tax Business to e-file an 1120. When I amended the 1120 using the same file, Turbo Tax says the 1120 has already been e-filed. Can an amended 1120 be e-filed? Do I need to start a whole new 1120 in Turbo Tax to e-file an amended 1120? Thank you for your help.

An amended return can never be e-filed and has to be paper filed.

 

You can prepare the amended return for your business using TurboTax Business, but you have print out the amended return (form 1120X) and file it by mail.
