Can I view my tax return ... at least the AGI before paying and printing ... which I will do next month ... if I would pay now, can I change it later before filing?

You can view your Form 1040 at any time. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary.  The 2018 AGI will be shown.  Or Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

If you pay the TurboTax account fees prior to printing or e-filing the tax return, you can still make any changes necessary on the tax return before it is filed.

You can peek at only the form 1040 & state summary page  by going here:

Click on Tax Tools >>>Tools >>>Click on View Tax Summary >>>Click on Preview my 1040

To view the entire return using the online editions before you file, you will need to pay for your online account.

To pay the TurboTax online account fees by credit card, without completing the 2017 return at this time, click on Tools … Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  On the next page, to pay by credit card, click Continue.  On the next screen it will ask if you want Audit Defense, if you do not want this option just click on the Continue button.  The next screen will ask for all your credit card information so you can pay for the account.

And you can make changes even after you pay the TT fees up until the moment you transmit the returns for processing.

Thank you so much!  I never thought of that because when I clicked on Tax Tools the items under it:

Tools

Print Center

Clear and Start Over

appeared to be greyed out, so I believed them to be un-selectable, but this worked perfectly just as you said to see my AGI.  Thanks!
