Can I use TurboTax to file California tax amendments for 2009 through 2017? If I can, how? Thanks.

Did you use Turbo Tax to file the original returns? Do you have all the Turbo Tax programs installed for each year?  You can only get the last 3 years.  Then you need the Turbo Tax File .tax2017, .tax2016 etc. for each year.

I did use TurboTax to file original returns.  I tried those old TurboTax programs but they don't work on my computer anymore unfortunately.  I could get 2011 to work as well as 2017 but the rest were not working.  I was wondering if there's TurboTax online that I can use.

Online is only for 2018.

Nothing earlier than 2015 is supported anymore.

Note that if you are amended to get a refund, I believe that CA's statute of limitations is four years.  After today, Apr 15, no year prior to 2015 could get a refund.

Got it.  I just opened a new question re: capital loss carryover amendment so I won't repeat here.  Hope someone can comment/answer.  Thank you!

You can amend returns that have been accepted by the IRS. If your return is pending, you won't be able to make any changes until it's accepted or rejected by the IRS. If you don't know your e-file status, we can help you check it.

Select a tax year for specific amending instructions.

Keep in mind: You have 3 years from the date you filed your return (or 2 years after you paid the tax due, whichever is later) to file an amended return, which means you don't have to get it done by the April 15 filing deadline.
