Can i still file my w2 if the employer enter my social wrong? Or do i have to wait for the corrected form?

If you social security number is wrong on your form W-2, please wait for the corrected form before filing.

A wrong SSN on form W-2 will cause social security tax withheld to be credited to the wrong SSN and could affect your social security benefits when you retire.
