Can i start my taxes DIY and then change to live assisted option if i deem it too difficult?

just had some things come up in 2023 that i might have more questions on etc.  I am pretty competent as I have done my own taxes with turbo tax for years, but might want to take advantage of the live assisted option since it's not that much more.
