Can i send screen shots of my last years returnes to turbo tax via email? i used another company last year and saved the records and turbo doesnt use pdf files

No, you cannot send screen shots to the software.  That would not contain the tax data in a form that could enter the 2018 software.  And please do not send screen shots of anything that is personal to this public user forum where it would be seen by anyone using the site.

If you did not use TurboTax for 2017 and do not have a tax file, then you have to just start 2018 from "scratch."
