The "native" file format is a tax data file that has a name something like "Your Name Tax.tax2022". A 2022 tax data file can only be opened with Turbotax for 2022, either installed on your own computer or online.
You can "print" your tax return to a PDF file. A PDF file can be opened and printed to paper on most any computer attached to a printer.
Both the tax data file and PDF file can be emailed like any other data file (spreadsheet, picture, etc.). They can also be transferred using file sharing services like Microsoft's OneDrive, Dropbox, Box.com, iCloud, and others. These methods have more or less security and you may want to think about encryption or other methods of transfer that are more secure than emailing an unencrypted file.
