Can I request to do my audit in person at local IRS office ?

Yes, you can. 

If you're being examined by a mail audit, you have the right to respond by mail, or you can request a personal interview with an examiner.

How would I go about requesting one I’ve done the mail audit gave them all information I’ve still been given a hard time . I feel as though I’ll have a better chance of pleading my case face to face
