Can I pay state with my federal refund?

Can turbotax take out what I owe state without me sending in a payment?

You cannot pay State Taxes owed with your Federal refund.They are two separate agencies. Also, TurboTax does not have the authority to do anything with your refund. You would need to send in the payment or go online to your States website to pay online.
