Can I go back and change my bank account information ?

If you have not filed yet or your return has been rejected, you may follow the prompts below to change your bank information:


Unfortunately, you will not be able to change this once your return has been accepted but if the bank account information you provided is for a closed or invalid account, the government will mail you a refund check.

How do I update my bank info with the IRS

The IRS is preparing Websites to update information and check your filing status.

Please read what it says on the right hand side where it says “Filers: Get Your Payment”
