Can I get my return deposited into a friend's bank account?

I’ve gotten my refund deposited into my moms account. 
it went through. 
but I wouldn’t recommend it just to ensure your money is safe!

Although the IRS will issue the refund   the bank may not allow the deposit due to banking regulations so I would not chance it.   If the bank refuses the deposit then you could wait more than a month for the IRS to mail a check to the address on the return. 

You could open an online bank account or get a pre paid debit card at the store for $5 to use for the DD. 

probably not because the last names won't match. if you try and the bank won't accept it the IRS will eventually send you a paper check. this usually takes 6 to8 weeks but considering how far behind the IRS is in processing documents it could be longer.
