Can I find the status of an amended return which was submitted a short time after I submitted the first 2024 return?

You can check the status of your tax return.  You will need:

• Social Security Number.
• Tax return year.
• Hilling Status.
• Exact refund amount

It may be confusing because the original return may not be processed.

We recommend that the amended return is not filed until the original is processed.
