Can I enter business expenses for 2017 on next years taxes or do I need to file an amended return?

I entered the expenses as deduction instead of directly on Sch C. Realized this after I printed out the forms and I already efiled and IRS Federal accepted.

You can't claim 2017 business expenses on next year's tax return; they must be deducted on your 2017 tax return, so yes, you will need to do an amendment for 2017.  Instructions are below.  You will delete the job-related expenses that were reported on Schedule A and report them on Schedule C, Profit and Loss from Business.                https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3288565

What section did you enter them as a deduction?

I entered them as Job Expenses under the deduction section but should have entered on Schedule C

I am thinking I need to file an amended complaint if I want to change this deduction. Agreement?
