Can I e-file my federal tax return (2018) today? IRS has to have I by 8/24/19. Or should I print it and overnight mail it?

E-filing is still open for 2018 returns until October 15, 2019.  So yes, you can e-file today.  After the deadline on October 15, a 2018 return has to be printed, signed and mailed.
