Can i direct deposit my refund into an account that is not in my name but I have cash my checks through this account before

I cash my work checks here at first national bank of Texas through a friends account can I get my refund check direct deposited

There's no specific rule with the IRS stating that you can't deposit into another account. However, it is not recommended to do so. The bank may reject the deposit to avoid any seemingly fraudulent activity.
