No.  Federal taxes paid are not deductible on your federal return.

There are six states that allow you to enter the federal tax you paid on your state return--Alabama, Iowa. Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, and Oregon.  If you are filing in one of these states watch for the deduction when you prepare your state return.

Thank you.  That was so nice of you to answer!    I thought that last year, you could also call TurboTax directly and get an answer that way as well.   Did something change?  John

There is no phone support for Free Edition.  We stay pretty busy in the public user forum.  🙂

Thank you.  I am not using the Free Edition.   So I must be in the wrong area.   As a paid user, in clicking Help, there is no phone # nor chat option.
