I don't know if Michigan's regular "Where's My Refund" tool will find an amended return or not. I know the Federal IRS has separate tools. But I don't quickly find a separate tool at the Michigan "Where's My Refund" website.

Did you try the regular Michigan tool, just in case? Otherwise, you may need to phone the Michigan Dept of Treasury and ask them the status, and while you have them on the line, ask if there's a separate tool on their website or not.
I did try the MI tool, but it only shows the refund I've already received. I will try calling them. Thank you.
You're welcome. It can also take a while for the amended return to show up in the system. For Federal, at least, the IRS says to wait 3 weeks before checking, but the state might be faster.
Also, when you speak to them, ask them about how long it normally takes them to process one, so you'll have an idea.
How Can I Check the Status of My Amended Michigan Tax Return?
You can call the Michigan Department of Treasury at 800-649-3777.
When will my amended return be completed?
Amended tax returns are processed after the current tax year returns are completed. At that time, amended returns are reviewed in the order received. Refunds from an amended return could extend into the next calendar year.

The IRS is not “amending” your tax return. There is not a Form 1040X being prepared. The IRS is recalculating refunds for people whose AGI is $150K or below and who filed before the tax law that changed the amount of unemployment that is taxable on a federal return became effective.
The IRS began to send out the additional refund checks for tax withheld from unemployment in May. The refunds are being sent out in batches—starting with the simplest returns first. If you are eligible for the extra refund for federal tax that was withheld from your unemployment the IRS will be sending you an additional refund sometime during the next several months. TurboTax cannot track or predict when it will be sent. The IRS has not provided a way for you to track it, so all you can do is wait for the refund to arrive.
