Can I be reimbursed the state taxes I have paid to OH if I can prove I lived in TX from the Sep22-Feb25?

Hello, I have lived in Texas from September 2022 - February 2025, which I understand does not have a state tax. I checked MyPay and realized I forgot to change my legal address from OH to TX during this time. I realized this while I was updating my address last March when I PCS to Ft Leonard Wood, MO. I would like to know if there is a process I could be reimbursed the state taxes I have paid to OH if I can prove I have lived in TX from the September 2022 -February 2025 timeframe. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!!

Are you in the military?  If so, you keep your Home of Record unless and until you change your domicile.  This includes establishing a new domicile in your new state.

You can amend your Ohio tax return and change to nonresident.  You will have to allocate your income to the state you worked in, which should result in a refund.
