Billing Notice for Services but I did not receive refund due to IRS delays

This morning I received a notice that I will be billed for TurboTax services because I chose to pay for TurboTax services by deducting them from my expected federal tax refund. The IRS is experiencing unprecedented delays in processing refunds, so I have not received my refund and it is still pending (as is the case for millions of other Americans). It is completely out of my control and therefore unfair for me to be charged/billed through an alternate payment method. The outstanding balance is due to the IRS's delay in processing and nothing I did as a customer. Therefore, TurboTax should not pass along this burden to its customers.

Well, you already used TT's services, and it must pay its employees. Do you expect them to go unpaid?   What if you never get your refund?
