Been waiting anxiously for my second stimulus check. Still has not been deposited even though the first one came as said. I dont understand what is going on. Sad

My first stimulus check came as said and tracked on both turbo tax and irsgov. Im desperately waiting on this second check and its still no here. I dont understand the hold up, when the first one was deposited with no issues or delays.

If for some reason you do not receive your stimulus, you can have it added to your refund. The IRS must stop mailing checks on 1/15 so all stimulus should have been received by 1/25 when the IRS is expected to start processing returns (date not yet set).  

 

Please wait until you are certain there is no second payment, then you can follow these steps, if necessary. 

  • After you have entered your tax information and are ready for the Federal Review, stimulus will be the first question.
  • If you are trying to trigger it: 
    1. go to Other Situations
    2. click Done. 
    3. The next question will ask about payments received.
  • The program will determine the missing amount and add it to your refund.

So three days ago. Turbo tax sent me an email saying i guess there was a mix up with online filers including hnr block. So they told me to resend my account and routing information and then in 5 business days i should have my second stimulus check. Strange. I never changed it the first time. It has always been the same. So now im waiting for it to be deposited in my bank account.
