Bank account is closed and need to change my direct deposit

If you have not yet filed your return, just go through the File menu and change the bank account information. If you have submitted your return for e-file, it is much too late to change the info unless your return is rejected for some other reason. If it is rejected, correct your info and resubmit. If it is accepted then there is nothing you can do. If your bank account is closed, the deposit will be rejected and the IRS will send a check to the address on your tax return.
