I did not. I had to figure it out on my own by calling the IRS and then TurboTax only to be told they can't help even though this group has your tax refund held hostage. TurboTax will be very quick to point out that YOU signed up for this and they have nothing to do with it. Apparently, they attach no responsibility to the fact that they are funneling their customers to a company that is borderline corrupt. They've had my tax return for some time and it's substantial and I have no clue when, or if, I'll ever get my money. In the meantime, they're collecting a lot of money in interest sitting on (what I am guessing is) millions of dollars of our tax returns. What a scam and TurboTax just tosses up their hands and says they don't have anything to do with it. Sorry for the rant....

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (SBTPG) is the company Intuit uses to deduct TurboTax fees (plus their own fee for the service) from your refund and forward the remaining balance to your regular bank account or prepaid card. If your refund is on hold at SBTPG, usually an issue arose when they tried to forward the remaining balance which needs to be resolved before they can release it. For additional information and SBTPG contact info, see https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/3129412 . Only SBTPG can resolve your issue; no one with Intuit or the AnswerXchange can tell you why this happened to you.
