Anyone else filed early and hasn’t been accepted?

TurboTax keeps saying that it’s received but IRS has no record. It’s been pending since I filed them. My fiancé taxes were accepted within 2hrs bases me waiting several days just  for it to still be pending. TurboTax system is full of glitches and I think it’s about time I contact an attorney to start a class act against them. They are not doing anything to address issue and IRS stated that there isn’t a backlog for 2023. The problem lies within turbo tax

The IRS will not have a record of your return until your return is accepted.  According to your post, you filed your return on January 13, 2023; however, the IRS did not begin accepting returns until January 23rd. Two things to note:

  1. The pending status is evidence that your return was transmitted successfully.
  2. Now that it is after January 23rd, the IRS has started processing returns and you will be notified soon as to whether your return is accepted or rejected.  The process is not first come, first served, so you may have to hold on a little longer before your return moves to this next step.

Unfortunately, I’ve spoken with the IRS and they stated that if your return isn’t either accepted or rejected within 24-48 hrs then there is a problem with the transmitter which is turbo tax. The IRS is opening an investigation regarding this issue.
