Amendment

I filed my 2019 taxes in June and state refund was 200 and I chose direct deposit to receive it . after a few days I had to amend my taxes and state refund went to zero. two days later  after the amendment I received state refund which 200 through my bank account. what happen and what should I do? if I should return back, how I do that?

note: it is NY state.

When you do an Amended return the monitors always reset to zero.  Then you enter the changes.  The $200 original refund should show up on the amended return as being received.  The the amended return is only for the difference you get back or owe back.  In fact you should not amend until you get the first refund.  And do you know Amended returns can only be mailed?  Not efiled.
