amending a tax return after a few years

For tax year 2017, I will be amending my return.
I also will need to send anemployee a 1099 for 2017 as a result.
i also need to send a business partner a schedule K as a result.
How long do I have to do these three things. I filed in Oct 2018.

You have 3 years from the date you filed your 2017 return (or 2 years after you paid the tax due, whichever is later) to file an amended return. More help with doing so has been provided below.
