Amending a Mailed Return

Interested in how I go about Amending a return that I had to mail into the IRS (vs e-File).    TurboTax doesn't recognize that the return has been filed,  therefore it doesn't give me the typical options of Amending my return.   Thanks in advance.

You have to print the return for filing, so that TurboTax recognizes that you filed it. Go through the File section and print the return for filing. You don't have to actually print it on paper, but create the PDF.
