Amending 2021 GA State Taxes

Need to amend my 2021 GA state taxes.  In 2021 lived in Florida all year.  GA Company HR dept. deducted GA taxes in 2021.  In 2021 I paid $6,066 and HR deducted $10,000 that went to GA IRS.  Am I entitled to $16,066 and how do I amend my erroneously filed GA taxes?  Do I also have to amend the federal taxes?

No, you do not need to amend the federal tax return.

If you never worked or lived in Georgia in 2021 then any state income tax paid to Georgia are eligible to be refunded to you on the 2021 amended state tax return.
