Amending 1040X to change renting a room out of house from profit to non-profit.

In 2019, I rented a room out of my house, and due to some usual and also some unique circumstances, there was no way I would make a profit. However, I misunderstood something and therefore when I filed I wound up filling out a schedule E. I got no refund, but I did owe negative taxes. I need to correct it so there is no schedule E I believe because I really did NOT rent for profit, and I also did not depreciate the room. I don't recall why it has been amended once as it was so long ago, but it is a 1040X that needs amended, and then I believe I need to account for rental expenses on a usual schedule A, or just take the standard deduction. I filed originally online using TurboTaxes 2019 Premier product. I know it is within 3 years, so I believe I should be able to amend. How can I correct this error?

Can I amend a return that was previously amended once already?

Yes.  You have to start with the previous amended return.  Did you do the prior one online or in the Desktop program?  If you amended online it should have the amended .tax2019 file in your account.  Download that file to amend again.  If you have the .tax2019 file on your computer be sure it's from the first amended return and not the original return.

It was originally filed and then amended online. Thank you for your help.
